Congratulations and thank you to all of our Great South Runners, who on Sunday 25th October took to the streets of Southsea and Portsmouth to run Europe's leading 10 mile race.
It was a bright and sunny day which some people welcomed more than others. One who felt the heat for the full 10 miles was our member Philip Renfrey who tackled the course wearing Marvin - our charity mascot!
Philip blogged his progress in the build up to the race, you can read his posts below:
Photos from the finisher's marquee are on our Flickr pages or you can browse them below.
We'd like to thank all of our runners who took part and are set to raise a huge sum of money towards our work. It was great to meet everyone who came along before and after the race for much needed refreshments and a massage to release some of that post run lactic acid.
If you ran the race for MRF at the weekend then you can check out your
finishing time here and please let us know what you experiences of the race by adding your comments.
