Philip, Marvin and the Great South Run

Philip and MarvinWell yesterday I picked up Marvin from Bristol and am now questioning my sanity in thinking I can run with Marvin.

I spent last night modelling him for my wife who has only just stopped laughing. As I'm vertically challenged, she has offered to take up Marvin's leggings and this afternoon I'm planning on having my first training run.

Wish me luck...

All you other Marvin runners, any tips?

Philip, Marvin and the GSR part 2.
Well Marvin and I are now well acquainted. I've been out for 3 training runs and all seems OK. With 3 weeks to go, I hope to get up to 8 miles in training and rely on adrenalin on the day for the remainder.
Afew adjustments to Marvin for comfort, which is a relative term...
The neighbours are getting used to seeing us, although I've been referred to as: a monster, a strawberry and a blob.
Tomorrow, I'm taking him to work.
