George Lane talks about being affected multiple times by meningitis.
George suffered meningitis three times when he was six years old but it was the last things in his mind when he fell ill a month before his 18th birthday. He became delirious, and incoherent and the ambulance service was called. They administered antibiotics and a lumbar puncture which confirmed a fourth episode of this dreadful disease. George once again made a full recovery and although we will never be completely free from the fear of this returning he is as protected as he can be and determined to lead a normal life.
