Schools and colleges are ideal for organising fundraising events – with so many people everyone only needs to do something small to make a really successful event.
The Foundation has a range of fundraising packs for primary and secondary schools. Each pack is full of ideas and advice on how to run an event and how we can help make it a success. Below are a few ideas to get you started:

Dress in Red or Non Uniform Day
Holding a non uniform day is one of the simplest ways to raise money, all you need to do is ask each pupil for a donation to wear their own clothes for a day. To raise even more money why not get your teacher to get sponsored to wear school uniform on the same day.
Start a Mobile Phone Recycling Scheme
Old, unused mobile phones can be recycled to help the environment and raise money. Simply get in touch with your local office and we'll send you resources to help promote your scheme and freepost envelopes to post your collected phones to us.
On average each phone collected is worth £4 so start your collection today.
Organise Your Own Event
But it doesn't stop there, use your imagination to come up with your own event. Our fundraising team will be able to help you with advice and resources to help make your event a success, even if it involves selling strips of tape to stick your teacher to the classroom wall.
