Your fundraising stories

Here are just a few of the many fundraising events being organised by our members and supporters. If you would like your event to be featured just send a photo and a short description of what you're doing to ianb@meningitis.org

Sam Seddon & the E.U.Rinals run the Richmond Castle 10K
10 years ago the good looking bunch of "fit" people in the picture were on yet another hockey tour in the delightful surroundings of Blackpool. A week later one of them fell victim to meningitis.

This October we will be getting together again to recreate some of the atmosphere of the hockey tour i.e. meeting for a beer festival, waking up with a hangover and wobbling around a bit on the pretense of enjoying exercise. Swap a hockey pitch for 10k of rolling North Yorkshire Hills and you have the picture. Oh and if you know any of us the "fit" pretense can definitely be lost. The exercise bit will most definitely not be fun!!
