My older sister tragically died the Christmas of 1998. There was a spate in the North West. She'd fallen ill with flu-like sypmtoms on the Sunday and by the Tuesday morning she had lost her fight. She was 16. A massive loss in our family and the school network. Beyond words to how much it devestated us.

As a family, the 3 musketeers (myself, and my parents) we have raised in excess of £20,000 through various fundraising.

This year I am completing different challenges every month in order to raise money and awareness. I had a target of £3000 however I have already reached £4100 and still 4 challenges to complete. October is her 41st Birthday and I will be on Mount Everest, trekking to Basecamp!

Having been to MRF HQ I know that every penny really does help!!

As a child losing their older sister I felt lost and alone. MRF gave us the support we needed.
