Susan Taylor
I had meningococcal meningitis when I was 4yrs old back in 1975.

My mother has told me that my infection was so bad that my spinal fluid hit the wall when I had my first lumber puncture. I spent one month in a coma.

I have nerve damage in one ear and cannot hear properly. I find this very difficult when i am in very noisy areas. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 10yrs old. I was held behind at school due to my learning differences. I have been researching dyslexia/dyspraxia through joining Dyslexia Scotland and understanding my difficulties with the issues which have arisen over the years.

It has been fantastic to find similar information which relates to my issues on the websites.
