Hi my name is Louise O'Neil. I had meningococcal disesease when I was 8 years old. I was in a coma for two weeks. I am left with deafness in my left ear and the right ear is losing the hearing and will soon be needing two hearing aids

I have also got scars about my body and I have knee and hip problems and suffer from bad head aches and am tired most of the time and I have memory loss.

It has taken me years to get over and I am still recovering and I am 27 and getting married .I also work full time as a carer witch is hard because I am always sore, but love my job.
