Stuart Wright
I returned from a two week holiday to Florida having served my first 12 months as a police officer.

"I believed it to be jet lag"

I felt unwell with a constant headache that pills would not shift but I believed it to be jet lag.

I was diagnosed after visits to the doctor and emergency hospital admittance to have meningitis and was very unwell in hospital for a month, undergoing several painful tests with injections in my spine.

I left hospital just before Christmas in 2007 and made a full recovery after several months.
